What We Manage

Cloud

Some workloads belong in AWS or in Microsoft's cloud. Some belong in a SaaS product. Some are still better on a server you can see. Radius recommends the shape that fits the business, then designs, watches and accounts for it.

Scope

Choose the shape, then operate it

Cloud

AWS or Microsoft cloud when the workload benefits from that model — identity, storage, hosting, monitored and costed.

SaaS

A vendor product when buying the function is better than running it. Still needs identity, backup thinking and an exit.

On-premises

When latency, cost, software or simply the current estate makes a local system the honest answer.

Hybrid

The common reality: some of each, joined with intent rather than leftover history.

How Radius manages it

  1. Understand

What exists, who uses it, and what the business actually depends on.

  2. Standardise

A known configuration, documented, rather than every machine being a special case.

  3. Protect

Identity, devices, backup and proportionate controls built into the way it is run.

  4. Monitor

Watch health and change, so problems are noticed before they become a queue of people.

  5. Support

When something fails, stay with it. Coordinate suppliers. Tell the business plainly.

  6. Improve

Remove repeated faults, plan the next refresh, and stop work that no longer earns its place.

Responsibility

Once something is running there

Radius does not claim AWS or Microsoft partner accreditations on this page. Those platforms are options. Radius is the operator of what we agree to manage.

  1. Secure design and access

Identity first. The cloud account is as sensitive as the server room used to be.

  2. Backup and resilience

Copies and recovery for the workloads that matter, not an assumption that 'the cloud is backed up'.

  3. Monitoring and cost

Health and the bill. Unused resource is a decision, not a surprise at month-end.

  4. Integration and lifecycle

How it joins Microsoft 365 and the rest of the estate, and when it should be revisited.

  5. Migration

Move what should move. Leave what should stay. Do not migrate as a fashion.

Our standard

Cloud is operated against the Radius Standard: designed, watched and paid for with intent.
